CVS Mega Sale! December 22, 2008

I really wanted to go yesterday but there was just no way! 😦 My mom came and stayed with the boys as we’re in 0 degree weather and I braved the cold to go to my favorite store. I didn’t have the makeup on my list, but they were out of benefiber, right guard and I thought A&H. No thermacare, sleep aid either. That totally flipped all my deals that I had written out, but that’s ok – i totally improvised!

I did ask the cashier if they had anymore of the cleaners or deoderant, and while they were out of deoderant, she had 6 A&H’s behind the counter and I got them! Woohoo!

What’s really funny is my regular favorite cashier was working and she had no idea that the stuff was free! She said “why are you getting so many bucks!!!” When I left she was running around with her buggy, trying to throw stuff in for herself as fast as she could!

Walked out with $98.49 worth of merchandise, paid nothing oop but still only used $2.70 off my GC, and still have $$26.92 in ECB’s.

Nothing like some CVS’ers whom have $100+ of ECB’s now, but I thought it was good considering I had no other coupons (the stuff I had coupons for they were out of!!) and had to do it on the fly, plus I was in and out in 35 minutes. I am woman, hear me roar, lol!
